A crossbow and a quiver equipped with multiple of clockwork mechanism. The length is about 90 cm with uncocked width of 55 c. The total weight of the mitrhil and iron based crossbow alone is 2 kg, as heavy as a regular wooden crossbow. Not too heavy that it will hinder the wielder mobility, but also not too light to the extent of reducing the crossbow safety and usability. Then the string is made from strengthened coiled wyvern sinew secured by a clockwork mechanism that also give added stability to match its tremendous power. The cocking mechanism is assisted by the mechanism that is controlled by a single lever, making it much safer and lighter to do compare to normal crossbow. It has two modes of cocking, manual and automatic. Manual meaning that the wielder mush cock the weapon each time after a shot. Automatic meaning that it will automatically do the cocking action for the user. There are three shoot modes, single, spread, and rapid. The single mode will allow the user to shoot one bolt at at a time while the user can choose either manual or automatic cocking. The spread will shot three to five bolts, according to the number of bolt inserted, in a spread manner while the user can choose either manual or automatic cocking. The rapid will shoot the bolt in a rate of fire about 30 bolts/minute. This mode will only allow automatic cocking mode. The loading mechanism can be done manually or by a cartridge. The cartridge is made purely from mithril, making it light. It can contain 30 bolts at the same time. Bolt can be reloaded manually to the cartridge as long as the bolt has similar size. The quiver can hold up to 5 cartridges at the same time. There is a leather sling attached to the crossbow and the quiver making it easier to carry. I also included a maintenance kit and also 300 regular mithril tipped bolt and also 300 iron tipped bolt. You can use the usual wooden bolt into the cartridge id you have to as long as it can fit the cartridge. There is also an iron sight at the end of the crossbow.
