        Only thing I can think of that I've had in high school was a pass/fail project where you could choose to either write an essay or something or create a product that you could sell.

        My group just "invented" a new chocolate recipe by melting down two different ones and passing it of as a "secret recipe"...

        Yeah, sounds like you're doing something entirely different lol. I can't remember any serious project like this.
