some rate a novel just because it's yaoi, ntr, tragedy.

and a novel with low rating doesn't mean a bad story. I read a novel with rating 4.2+ but I dropped it due to repetitiveness. but a 3.7 novel is able to make me hook

the previous translator used the name daoist gu, didn't she/he ?

@Night Ghost Not much difference... Reverend Insanity was the name given by a guy in Wuxiaworld who didn't know that much about it, I think this came before Ruyi's Daoist Gu though.
I just picked Reverend insanity over Daoist gu because it sounded cooler and at the time, I thought Daoist was more peaceful/good people (local culture influence? idk)

Also Reverend Insanity I thought referred to the MC, because he is... psychotic (insane) ;v
And in essence, the Chinese title Gu Zhen Ren - Gu is the bug, also has some meaning of insanity depending on context.
Zhen Ren means well, hard to explain, like those Daoist master people or something. Idk how the person got Reverend instead :v But Reverend is a title anyway, in christian terms.

Well ghost, I am fine with either names. But after so long with fans knowing this novel as either name I guess I'll keep RI but leave a note or something eh?
Anyway the spoiler and Lcd thread both list both its names. Now it is up to people which they prefer :)
