I am old enough to remember how much better life was before Political Correctness.

That crap is not very popular here.

France but small town so that might be why, it has its negatives too.

Yah, it is because its a small town.
People still have their head screwed on correctly.
Cause France is more "progressive" or rather socialist than America.

Something about people who grow up in more rural areas, they tend to have more wisdom. Something about living closer to nature, and having the time to develop understanding of the "simple" things that truly matter.

Don't know why it happens, maybe less distractions, or being aware of our own human nature, or less competition vs strangers, so more trust and humanity can develop in smaller communities.
