What about a person who doesnt rush into mere conclusions and likes to wait to know the person because he/she is innately curious or his brain doesnt work like most people? there is complexity behind complexity as there is simplecity, general views cant be counted as solid facts for the whole :p
I wouldn't say people judge others SOLELY by looks. But it is the first thing we can perceive.
The "right" thing to do with that judgement is to acknowledge it and take it with a grain of salt. In doing so you can change your perceptions as you get more information.
While I know others will probably skim through it, at that time I just forget that and type without thing, next thing I know I've already reached the limit thrice.

They suffer from a lot of racism. I have seen some security guards kicking them out of the of place (such as a mall or cafe) just because they were black.
Well what about nuf? i cant see anyones appearence here, only what they writte, whould u consider that also an appareance? or is just yourself wanting to believe it is?
Ethnocentrism, societal narcissism are completely different from a person's normal ability to judge for himself and shouldn't even be put in the same category.
i believe juding someone by his appareance is determined by the "judge" standing because forming an imagen or a general view about someone could be counted as judging too, but does every detail that u miss makes you a bad judge? how clear does that view has to be?
in the end you cant controll what people think about you because there is an infinit number of factors that could alter what you desire, AND MAYBE you only hear such things once or a few,
because the only voice that you will hear the rest of your life is your onw self appreciation and awareness so as long you are happy with and in peace with yourself everything else is just nothing.
