But these are the moments to live, where you are sleepy, but immune to it at the same time.

Anyway, try performing the following exercise to fall asleep:
(i) Breathe in through your nose for four seconds.

(ii)Hold your breath for seven seconds.

(iii) Slowly breathe out through your mouth for eight seconds.

(iv) Repeat this process until you fall asleep.

*the other method is to exercise on bed with someone until you are tired to death*

My method is more time-efficent.

I am just binge reading after a long, long time with good music. That's the cause of immunity.

And good food, yes, that's a must temptation.

A lot books are seeking refugee in my bookshelf, yet I cannot fully help them.

A pity, I'd say. But I have my reasons. And by reasons, I mean I can't read trilogies without taking long breaks in between each book.

And stand-alones are not my cup of tea.

For me, anything would do.

All I have to do is read some chapters in. Once I am focused, I won't stop till the end of it.

Believe it, I finish my textbooks in the same way.

While I can force myself to finish a book in one go, I like to slowly savor the journey.

I also take small break in between, digest what I read, and return back to the book. It is in this way, do I enjoy reading it.

But each to their own, I suppose.

But wasn't he already king of Greycastle or something? I haven't read that recently.

@RTS Haha, I do that when it's one chapter to read, I.e, the latest chapter.

When I am binge reading, what I want is focus. It's where time stops and you even forget yourself much less sleep. When you come to senses, a day has already passed.

Such a state is hard to reach and you can't find it even when you are looking for it. But whenever it comes, it's a delight much more enjoyable than the novel itself.

True enough. Immersion is indeed hard to come by

@juniorjawz From the last thing I remember reading, he's already a king and is now trying to establish communication with witches from the previous war against demons. (about 100+ chapter from the recent)
