Well, Horiz Distance is D= t*r, where r is your rate and t if your time of flight, so first you need to calculated your t (time of flight) That would be (2*Vsub0*sinϴ)/g
so (2*12*sin45)/9.8 [Is that right? I forget exact Gravitational Acceleration]
