Hmmmm, It depends on what you consider "beginner" (seems everywhere is different), but I can take a look.

What aspect? parabolic arc? change in acceleration?, etc etc

Or rather, I guess the term is Vert/Horz Velocity. Think I was mixing up the change in acceleration from a different thing.

Anyway, my point is, what part are you having Trouble with?

Finding the horizontal distance with a given intial height of 20 m, angle is 45, and velocity is 12

Hmmmmm, Its been a long time, since I've done these, but refreshing up a bit.
Well, Horiz Distance is D= t*r, where r is your rate and t if your time of flight, so first you need to calculated your t (time of flight) That would be (2*Vsub0*sinϴ)/g

so (2*12*sin45)/9.8 [Is that right? I forget exact Gravitational Acceleration]

Your rate is just your Horiz Velocity, so Vcosϴ

So, HD = 12cos45 *[(2*12*sin45)/9.8]

Just change the -16 out in the second vid, with -20.

essentially, The only thing you are doing differently, Is finding your t with a displacement of -20.
