huh? so literature basically? what do you learn in it?

At its simplest, read novels and write reports on them. How well you do will depend on your writing ability. When I was in high school, my teachers did a horrible job explaining the proper method of writing a report to me, so they were all terrible.

eh that seems boring, for english we had two subjects (with an optional extra if you were aiming for an arts stream)
1st was all about grammar, creative writing, reports, sop etc
2nd was about literature whee you had a collection of poems, short stories and a play

you understand them and write long ass 2-3 pages answers about them

As long as you know how to write, it’s easy. >.>
