Meh. To some countries the tuition fees and lunch that costs money are just normal things that are just so deeply rooted to minds that other options just seem impossible. To me, tuition fees and lunch that costs money are just outrageous things and I would prolly go bankrupt in a short time.
Of course, I can understand why tuition fees seem necessary to some. It promotes competition and shit for scholarship positions and increases motivation bcuz if you don't get your moneys worth, you're gonna end up screwed later on in your life.
Well, there's that too. And when you go to less known schools for studying bcuz you can't afford better ones, it becomes a social stigma. I think. I don't really know. I just based my earlier theory or smth on clothes. When you don't wear brand clothes and wear something cheaper, ppl are gonna shun you. Well. Some ppl. Not everyone.
To you, brand clothes might seem stupid when you can get cheaper clothes that basically serves the same function. Same prolly applies to education for some ppl.
Since our school has requested for new stuff from the government, we somehow get "free food". But you see, I thought it was already free, since Kinder-Garden.
