How many times chasing actually works if there's no previous interaction or any feelings towards the chaser? I honestly won't even bother with chasing after ppl I like if there's not even a tiny bit of interest towards me.

Hmmm... I guess if you're being super subtle and shit while showing your affection to the chased, and if she/he will notice it, will maybe think it's cute and slowly start liking you back.

@RTS... it's like he's being a dog humping on it's owners leg, looking for affection. It's annoying... and in some cases, disgusting. I don't mean to say that your friend is disgusting or anything, just stating what other ppl may feel. Could you just ask him to... spread his wings or smth? Look for love elsewhere, but keep the 5yrs older woman in mind. Keep the options open, I guess.
