Haha, it took me a week to come up with the same idea as you after I posted this picture. Actually it’s a coaster for glasses, a paper one, that they put under coffee cups in cafes. I was surprised it had 6 layers to that one coaster. I like roses so I tried making one. It was only later that I realized it looked rather perverted. I’ll change it one day (can’t be bothered).
Yknow where I worked… we'd use these more often to stabilise the table legs than as actual coasters. I'm having a hard time imagine how something that's not even flat would work as a coaster, did you see that in a coffee shop?
Separate the 6 layers and scrunch them up one by one, then unfold and try to put it back together. Looked messy, so ball up the topmost one more. Take a picture. Sorry, I’m actually not good at talking photos... got better with my new phone, but this one was taken with the old phone...
I made roses out of clay before. Then drew roses (errr horrible drawings, but I practiced). Now I sometimes “see” roses in weird shapes. Like you know how people watch clouds or something for patterns?
Hobby. Till I was 16 I probably tried out most art forms. But Not much now. I’m not that talented. Though my favorite way to distress is to draw interior design plans (even with a pen) of my “dream” lodgings. (Changes every time I draw it). When I draw that I forget all the bs I was stressing about before. I am secretly jealous of artistic people. Well in a good way, like praising them and stuff. (Usually)
Currently a NEET. Used to work in a restaurant , then at a hotel, then in accounting. Then I tried working for myself as an independent in some stuff related to wellbeing. Then I realized I spent more money than I earned. Started looking for another job. And you?
Where I’m from... hehe... I always love this question. Coz I live in Europe right now, in fact I lived in 2-3 more countries, (depends how you count), but I was born elsewhere. Kitchen, yeah, I can sympathize. But you’ll either lose weight or learn to cook
I'm just doing a general course for now. There wasn't much choice in my small city and I always liked human sciences, it just happened to be the most "concrete" with other career paths than being a teacher or researcher.
