At first I thought it was some strange way to reduce the system spam. But lines like this one are seriously important to the story and I don't understand why it was placed this way.
They are from the transfer to the new site, where formatting differences turned some notification boxes with number into footnotes. Its impossible for me to know which chapters among hundreds that they affect.
Should be all of them, but I didn't check past c700. I wasn't sure offhand when the site change happened, but the 300 chapter gap with no others appearing made me feel like I was wasting my time.

The footnotes have a cool little hand icon that stands out, so you can see it at a glance. It takes like 1 second to check a chapter.
