Like, why install a bench facing the main road when the bustop and buildings are withing walking distance. My counntry is small, so there are bustops every few hundred meters

Because after 10 bus stops, that first bus stop become 1k away~

And why would they want to put a bench 1k away from the furthest bustop when it is less then 30secs to the nearest bustop? Beautifying the surrounding?

Bus stops don’t work as indvidual benches, but as a network of connecting benches

Benches that gets wet during the rain due to no roof over it, compared to bustops that have roofs sheltering it from rain.

But dry when once the sun comes out~
