Pizza Hut as a international chain started here in America, of course they adapted to other countries like Indonesia when they franchised to those places. I was about 6 and it was either a town called Flippin or Harrison or Mountain Home in my state in the USA

what food would you recommend from your country if i ever came across it ?

hm...it depends on the country tho...at Jakarta, you can have almost any foods from other countries...

Kwetiaw is my fav!! (noodles, the best you have is in Medan)
Pecel, Gado-gado, Sate ...best to have at Java
i like Sate Padang more...but most people dislike the sauce....

variant noodles and porks are best have at Medan

they also said Soto is great...but for me it is overrated
