Summer plans usually require money and i have none to spare. At most i will be at the mercy of family and friends who might invite me to an occasional event or weekend getaway

Do you ever go hiking or is there a lake to go to around you? I like to do free things. .look for free admission to art museums.. barbeque w/ friends..swim

i love hiking, i live in the woods and hills of the Ozarks so i hiked often . just not recently , i prefer the company of a group when hiking . nearest lake is about an 25 min drive and Crystal Bridges an art museum is about 2 & half drive away. might go on my birthday in September though .

Oh sounds beautiful! I googled is beautiful! 25min isnt bad for a drive. I go to one here called Lake Pleasant it is a little over an hour away.
