I'm just looking at it from both an expected utility and dominance principle. Expected utility says to not get greedy. Dominance principle says to be greedy.
The above gains only work if the Macguffin knows what I know what it knows I know, etc. Meaning the magical giver of money knows how I will think in advance. If the Macguffin is not near perfect in predicting, then the opposite must be considered.
Be sure to keep yourself healthy and eat meals, @Bakaturq. Also, I was just saying what I thought the point of Newcomb's Paradox was about. There definitely was no candy involved.
