    if there is such insurance that gives accidental damage to desktops, yes. I haven't heard of one. Usually, it's only for laptops..

    I have contents insurance that covers all my stuff for accidents natural or otherwise, at home or out and about. I don't claim on it often, but it will be that time when I don't that I will need it. ^.^

    I don't know if home insurance would cover it. It might as well. It might be tricky, as it might cover the computer as a whole, but not the parts within. I guess it's a question for the insurance company :D
