It is a great story but given how the dude was talking about the rape with glee. I was pissed off and thought it was another gratuitous nonsense.
It is very good, I am sure anyone who is Asian knows the story.
It wasn't gratuitous at all and was mentioned in passing and pretty pivotal to the story
That kinda reminds me of when I listened in on a convo several classmates had about Game of Thrones a few years ago. They were talking about all the sex in it and when someone said "there's so much rape in it", another responded "ikr it's great" (exact word used could mean either awesome or hot in English)" and I was like "...................."
People think lolicon and other dangerous fetishes have no negative impact because its just fiction when it desensitizes horrible behavior.
They equate gratuitous rape and drawn child pornography to Agatha Christie's murder mysteries.
Saying that if manga is child pornography then murder stories are a crime too...
I dropped Game of Thrones on episode 1 when Drogo raped Daenerys.
It was hard to escape all the clips on YouTube though.
Dragons and female leads conquering were cool to watch and The singing in the original language was pretty cool
