Is it working or not?

It comes on but it says no boot media found and media link failure. I just hope a simple reinstall of windows will fix or reconnecting the hard drive.

So... it was working normally before but after the drop you got that error?
If it is so, I hate to tell you this mate, but I don't think it is a windows reinstall problem... hope I am wrong (´Д｀;)

Yeah, it's a refurbished. The hard drive cover is missing lol. That certainly explains why a fall from a few inches is causing so much trouble

I replaced the hard drive and it worked. I will use my original as an external hard drive for now. Hopefully, I can transfer all my files
