Biscuits in America can be sweet or savory but it is an bread eaten usually with butter, jelly or honey. Often with meat of some sort

I think the main difference between a cookie and a biscuits is that cookies (other than being thicker) has its own flavor and thus doesn't need other spreads. While biscuits despite how it's okay to eat them as is, using spreads would elevate the experience

Though I'm American, for the longest time I never knew that biscuits were bread. I would prefer the non-American biscuits.
