the rape tag is fine actually. as long as you phrase it good enough... harem vs non-harem is not good (you'll offend me big time i promise). sensitive stuff is usually not allowed. i think you can start with the what novels do u all like question as a thread, because people really like discussing and you're likely to make more acquaintances that way
