Its why you need to do it often, like everyday. Since I'm tall my weight doesn't really show all that well until I'm viewed from the sides, then I appear chunky.
I need to go from 270 (265 right now) to 200! That is my goal for now!

Well...if you frequently work out then you should definitely see some results.
I noticed that although I hadn't become buff, last year when I still got to use the school's gym every day; I had become noticeably slimmer (like my face).
I had lost around thirty pounds in a 2-3 months after 45min each week day, problem was that I didn't work harder to lose more of it, so my weight stagnated for a while after that. (218 lb)
(You don't need weights, although if you like you could just use milk jugs filled with water).
Sometimes I forget that behind my house is just a couple miles of flat dirt. If you can, maybe a local school has a track that you can just use or something.
Or just jog around the neighborhood.
Also, I usually have short walks in-between my runs, and also after running I try to do some squats.
My legs feel all wobbly for the rest of day.
At least they used to, now I do the whole workout at night too! o(^▽^)o
