Well, going from English to Japanese is pretty much trying to do the opposite of what you know. It’s a bit easier if you know spanish, but not by much.
Once the brain learns to accept how Japanese flows, it gets a lot easier. Getting to that point is hard~
The first thing you need to do is learn the kana. hiragana and katakana. From there, simple phrases along with particles. “Japanese demystified” is a good start for learning particles. You should also try watching “misa ammo.” Her explanations on understanding grammar points are excellent. At the same time, slowly build up your vocab with simple sentences. Around then is a good time to use duo.
