Are the different art styles all lessons from college?

hehe yeah xD well, not sure about other colleges but for the one I went to, they don't really cover different styles as lessons each. We first start learning drawing realistic figures and scenes to cover and polish our basic foundation haha

Then, once we hit our 2nd year, we start getting into digital (still realistic) and then chipping our way into stylised! We do a lot of exploration on our own with individual projects. The lecturers had us look at *existing styles* and study them before breaking the rules to make our own xD

um this looks pretty ugly to me right now but this is one of my college projects xD the project was to recreate/polish an existing fairy tale with our own twist and style
