I'm quite found of Bag of bones, the writing style is quite... different from king's usual. It gives a sense of tension while you read that I found to be quite amusing.
Never got to read Needful things though, but a friend already recommended it for me before so it should be passable.
Hmm I've read the dead zone. That wasn't too bad but not great either. the rest I haven't read but I've heard of the dark half. Sounds interesting.
The ones I've read are dead zone, Carrie, the shining, pet cemetery, misery, cujo, firestarter, it, dolores Claiborne, skeleton crew. Can't remember others
Firestarter I enjoyed a lot.
Pet cemetery was good but cos I saw the movie ending it put me off reading the novel ending lol
Cujo I think I started but didn't get far
Dolores Claiborne was good but was less horror I think and more of a story telling view.
The other novels I really liked were the shining and it. They were good horror ones. And misery, the experience of the author and his crazed fan, that was a good read
Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep my eyes out for some of these, but it'll probably be a while before I read some of those. I have a decent size reading list I need to attend to first.
No worries~ take your time getting through them. With Stephen King books I found a can't read them quick. I enjoyed it slowly over time. Let me know how you find It when you finish it
