I just finished ch 142. Page 88 of 285. Still a long way to go~~ For now I like it. Right now MC is in the beginning of an awkward situation. MC is a zombie, but he always together with humans, and he becomes a traitor for the zombie. His right hand man in previous life becomes an enemy in this life. All this situation makes MC uncomfortable... Btw the baby is so cute and clever.
Will give a little spoilerrr Spoiler: Spoiler • MC wake up, get original host memories and realized that he is crossing to his novel world/book wear (mtl word). • MC though that if he wants to go back to reality, he has to kill ML • MC stalk the ML in cemetery, and randomly light a stick. But their family come and though that MC is the murderer. Then the old man chased MC and MC ran away. • MC escaped towards ML. And accidentally save ML from assassination. He got a bullet in his arm. • ML supposed to be in a coma because of the assassination. But this event didn't happened because MC saved ML. So, MC thought that ML will not reborn. • But the ML fainted, and still reborn. MC brought ML to his villa. And planned to kill him there. But then he can't kill the ML. • After ML wakes up. He remembered his past life memories. And took out a red bead. That red bead fly to MC and he accidentally swallowed it. • After several days, MC pregnant. He didn't believe it and he called the doctor a quack. • MC actually really pregnant. ML shocked after he knows it. But he said to MC that his stomach is just bloated. • The pregnancy was really fast. In just (more or less) one month, he already born. • A few hours after the baby born, he becomes a two or three year old child. • MC still in disbelief why there's a child. Why he's born. Didn't ML said that he just bloated. Then he ran to ML and asked for an explanation. This thing will become a funny joke in the future. • The child is cute. But he is not a normal child. He is basically an artifact/ML's space. He knows many think including the fact that MC is not the original host. • They becomes lovers. But they can openly announce it because their family is not in a good relationship. • One of the reasons is ML's cousin always fighting with MC's half-brother. • MC suspected that ML's cousin is the zombie king a.k.a the original host a.k.a the original Mu Yifan. And they suspect that he is the current boss of MC former (zombie) comrade in previous life. The character's names and appearance in MC's novel are based on his real life friends or family. For examples, his half-brother. MC can't really hate him because of his face remind him of his gentle elder brother in reality. And MC swears that he will not make character based on real life people anymore.

When they found out about the relationship of the two, the families were against it. -About the zombies, there was a twist in it. MC was supposed to be the king but when he did not follow the plot another zombie became king. And he lead many powerful zombies that can think just like humans. -The MC has cancer right? When he became a human his cancer accelerated and then he died. It happened in ML and MC's wedding. After that ML kinda went mad. Bringing MCs corpse to watch sunset or was sunrise. And the people who knew them really felt bad. -And MC never met their 2nd son. 2nd son came from a plant and looks just like MC. Nah. ML calmed down when he saw his 2nd son. MC went back to his original world. -MC wrote the characters based on people he knew. So his bff who was going to marry his sister looks like ML. he was dense before he transmigrated but now became bent. He kinda found out that this bff is in love with him. He seduced his bff who looks like ML. -Well, at the end of it. The truth was bff and sister wasn't going to marry. Just wanted to know MCs reaction if he would be jealous. Lol -And then they got together. But bff got in an accident. He hit his head and then when he woke up he remembered what happened in Z world -Turns out that he became godly powerful there and traveled trough time and space just like Xiu from The reader and the protagonist... When ML was born in MCs world he was holding a bead. Lol The bead became a family heirloom and was given to MC. MC saw it and quickly swallowed it. He became pregnant again. LOL

Oh no! You dung out my favorite novel. I incorrectly called it The First Wife tho. This is a fantastic novel with the best tearjerking scenes at the end/climax. The author actually rewrote this. She filled in a lot of missing details and plot holes but also made some events too darn long. I actually have the rewritten version on bookmark because it got draggy and sucked up alot of excitement. So props to you for powering through. I don't mind giving out spoilers because that recommendation link is sooo barebones with regards to how the story actually goes. I wasn't even sure if it was the same novel until I read the rest of the thread. Edit: Nvrmind, @Shizun Your summaries are great!
Omg, I just binge read the entire thing in two days and I am shook. God they're so cute Crying though because I wish there was more to read about them in the reality world and the fictional world, also the lives of the side characters I think would be great if we had more detail since most of it is pretty vague.
I'm currently in the middle of MTLing this, and it's pretty understandable. I'm just really enjoying this MC 'cause he's badass and humorous. He has got to be one of the best ones I have encountered in danmei. I can see why ML fell in love with him. Some interesting and funny tidbits: Spoiler 1. MC went on a mission alone to get this special gun to please ML's grandfather(?). They were slowly planning to reveal their relationship to their families at this point. He went to this one village/county area to find a sex store. He filled his bags with a lot of condoms, sexy underwear, toys, videos, lubricant and got caught red-handed by ML's team when he got outside. He tried pretending that he didn't know them to no avail. The team was like, "We went out to find supplies while you were trying to find condoms!" When MC came home, he was hoping to use them as soon as posssible, but ML had to be somewhere. MC started to blow balloons out of the condoms and left little notes in them, I think. When ML saw this, he said something like, "I must return this enthusiasm." 2. MC's paternal grandfather was ill and couldn't move and talk much. The two of them have a really good relationship, and he was the first one on MC's side of the family to learn about ML. The grandfather got wide-eyed, but couldn't respond before MC left. In the visit afterwards, the grandfather got better due to ML's space water and openly expressed his anger by throwing a pillow at MC the moment he entered the room. MC insisted that he is only wants to be with ML. The grandfather was kind of accepting but couldn't understand romantic relationships between men. MC gave one of the videos that he took from the sex store that was labeled "Sexy Wars" or something to the grandfather as a response and quickly left. The grandfather wanted to break it but figured it would be a problem if people found out he had it so he hid it under his mattress. Lol. 3. MC was fighting with ML's cousin/brother(?) in his home and was saved by ML before he got hurt. They did a lot of damage to the room and opened up a large hole on the floor. MC was like, "Wow, I lived here for a couple months, and I didn't know Grandpa lived downstairs!" ML, ML's cousin, and grandfather responded with ellipses. MC proceeded to introduce ML and his cousin, and they waved at the grandfather or something. MC (or ML, forgot which) sealed up the hole with ice, and MC's relatives came over and asked him about the noise. He said that he was practicing his powers. They said not to harm his grandfather since the debris almost hit him. Hahaha. 4. When MC and ML first did the "pa pa pa," ML placed tape on MC's lips in order to kiss him. It is mentioned that the zombie virus can be passed through bodily fluids so the condoms were also a countermeasure. They often times kiss each other on the cheek to show affection. Later on, MC was able to control the zombie virus for short periods of time, which allowed him to French kiss. EDIT: I just remembered that all of their teammates know that they are together and are sticky towards one another. One event that made me laugh was when MC and ML was in the backseat and one of ML's teammates rolled up the dividing window that separates the front and back. He was the driver and didn't want to eat dog food. It's funny afterwards because the two went into the space, where time flows differently, and had sex. It was a short ride, so when the two got out of the car, people were wondering why they were so happy and smelled like they just washed up. 5. One of ML's friends, the same one who did a checkup on MC when he was still pregnant, said that if ML could guess correctly his special ability that he would win a kiss on the cheek (correct me on this). MC, instead, answered and ML ate vinegar. ML gave his friend some of the space water, and on the way home, the friend got a bad stomach ache and had to stop. He got diarrhea, and was appalled that ML gave him water with what he thought was mixed with laxatives because he was jealous. There are several mentions of diarrhea since it's an aftereffect from drinking the space water. It was a way to get rid of the toxins in the body. Both ML's and MC's grandfathers suffered this. Since it's MTL, there might be details that are incorrect.
Does MC know or at least suspect that ML from the novel's world = his friend from the real life? If he treated them as individual people, not the same person, wouldn't him seducing his friend seem a bit like cheating on his lover from the novel's world...
Not really, he didn't seduce him at first because he was confused and frustrated because both of them look the same. He went out for half a month to recollect his feelings and needed time to think, when he came back, he had decided to be with the childhood friend as he realized that he couldn't come back to the Zombie world or that his lover could come to his world. Edit: I mtl the novel for 5 days and already finished it @-@, bad idea for my eyes.
He did become the Zombie King, but many were confused why there were TWO Zombie kings as the original!host soul of Mc's body is inside ML's cousin's soul.
Thanks for the answer. Edit: Anyway, it somehow doesn't sit well with me. While ML was grieving and (apparently) searching after him, MC just gave up in such a short time and decided that he wants to be with someone else... If his childhood friend wasn't his lover from the novel's world, it would be really sad and kind of unfair for ML. I just hope that MC's feelings are explained in the novel, because it's hard to believe that he loved ML deeply.
@UltimateRighteousHero ML was originally from the novel world and later cultivated and broke through the worlds to be reborn to an earlier timeframe into MC's world. So MC & ML's romance in the novel came first. ML in the 'real world' just had his previous life's memories suppressed, although he had hidden feelings for MC. Also, as MC's feelings developed during the story, he realized he had feelings for both people -- the novel ML and the 'real world' ML. It's just he was too dense to realize it at first. MC in the beginning did not consciously have feelings for the 'real world' ML, so it's not giving up anything. In any case, he wrote the ML based off of the 'real world' ML. So it's not exactly seen as being unfaithful, given the source material.
Although he did waited half a month for him. (That's what MTL says, half a month. Even though the text before said a month.) He needed time and purposely waited for him to come to him, but there was Mc's friend who he scratched his novel counterpart along with the other Mc's friend who is in the novel ML's friend (doctor), who told him that it might be just a dream. Even another person said that it was Dream. The "dream" only appeared because he had feelings for the real person. So no wonder he gave up because everyone told him it was a dream when it's not. (Although he had feelings for his childhood friend before, even his sister noticed.)

Mc's and ML's son has time travelling powers, he wanted to save Mc from removing the virus. 2. Mc refused as his son would disappear if he changed a little thing (Butterfly effect I guess) 3. ML's real cousin's soul is inhabiting the emperor's body. He was turned to the leader because Mc turned back human. 4. Zheng son and Mc's friend who he scratched (the names are so hard in MTL, it keeps saying "Read") married each other, Zheng father accepted the relationship. 5. Original host of MYF "impregnated" the supposed-to-be-FL, probably had a red bead too while inhabiting inside ML's cousin's body, it wasn't clear how he managed to pregnant her. Raping her would have made her to a Zombie already. 6. There was a funny scene: Grandpa Zhan received the gay porn disk from Grandpa Mu (which he received from Mc), he didn't know and was grateful at first. But when he watched it, his expression was priceless with his friend(?) Cai. Then his son Lei Ping(? Or was it the one with G?) (Father of ML) came and saw the hot gay scene, immediately turned around to his wife with the reaction. "I saw nothing." Grandpa Zhan reacted like an "Old man" as Cai said.
