    Probably because they enter a different story every night, similar to the arabian nights in how the girl survives another night by telling a tale.
    And yeah spell's name is 1001 nights.

    do the ML and MC meet in real life? does ML get better after splitting his soul into so many parts or is he eternal yandre?? do they finally break the spell??

    They meet, ML is fine, back to his sweet self from before. And yeah, the spell broke afterwards~ The last alice one was the sweet one I believe, it happens after they meet
