Okay, so far I saw both "Last Casino" and "21" itself. They both had blackjack theme with MIT students and a teacher. For me, it was awesome. Is it based on a true story? And if so, your thoughts?
21 was based off a true story, but the fact is, to be based off a true story, very little actually has to be real. I believe it was something like only 10% has to be true. But there are many cases in which mathematically inclined people go out and try this at casinos. Many cases do go poorly, especially if you are caught. But your average player shouldnt worry about it. Although its interesting, it just kind of makes it hard to view blackjack in a good light, when wining majorly gets your ass kicked xP
21 was great, that statistics question in class, and the way he calculated the suit price, genius. Literally
Only problem with 21 is that (almost) all dealers are taught to card count by the casinos and they kick people out who are even suspected of counting.
You know when they say "based of a true story" you know the sh*t that seem real is fake and the " " that we don't care about is real.. So for exemple: My dog die. So they make the movie based on my dog (dog has 1-2min of screen time and the rest is fake of 1:30 movie
The trick to counting cards is knowing when to win and when to lose. You have to be able to bluff the house, not your fellow gamblers.
In all casino games, the results of spins are determined by the random number generator (RNG). But often the players in the sections f.a.q. ask how to be sure of their honesty. Reliable casinos here in slot machines, roulette, baccarat and other games support the control of honesty MD5. Using it, you can confirm that all results were generated randomly, and third parties did not influence them. How to use MD5, you can check with the operators of the gaming house.
