Defying the 10 Rules

This world was once made up of laws that humans created for other humans. The laws were governed by the “justice system” and if found breaking the laws, you would be condemned as a criminal. The laws were different depending on the religion, culture, and location of where you lived.

However, one day a large distortion appeared in the sky at several key locations around the world. From that distortion appeared a large cube with words on it, numbered from 1-10. The writings depicted rules that must be followed. That was the conclusion that was made after a year passed. Those who broke the rules would burst into flames and turn into ashes. Because of this, everyone panicked, and the world broke into chaos.

People learned many other things about the cube. They learned that words appeared on the other three sides. On one was the rules, the second were names of deceased of those who broke the rules, the third name the top 5000 strongest humans, and last the top 1000 organizations.

Every month several things will occur because of the cube. One, the cube will change 3 rules. And two, by the first of each month a person must be “sacrificed” to the cube. But the sacrificed would come out on the last day of each month and will return either 100x times stronger with amazing abilities or miserable. Sometimes no one would return from the cube.

Those who returned from the cube refused to let the others know what occurred inside the cube. They soon realized that it wasn’t they would not tell anyone, but rather they could not tell anyone. Another event that would occur is the yearly calamity where the world will face a huge disaster and the humans must prevail if they want to survive.

Twenty years passed and slowly the world that fell into chaos had created a new system where the strong was worshipped and the weak were either abandoned or turned into slaves that wore collars. People became used to this new system and strong became even more arrogant.

One day a boy named Lee Leng Huang, born into a family who are all slaves refuses to bow to the strong and is determined to defy the 10 rules. Lee Leng will use his intelligence to gather others who are strong to once again change the system of the world.
