Actually it's cathartic like batman or the punisher. Hero is portrayed as evil by press, his values distorted but he remains faithful to his mission and values. And he crushes the evil doers thoroughly. I like this. Who won't?
If this was a chinese novel it would probably take 300-400 chap for the Mc to reach the evolution of Werewolf, this is why I like the fast pace of Kr novel.

Vampires drink human blood, declared enemy of humanity (The author mentioned it -I think- at first but feels off somehow), some even claim not drinking it while drinking it. This is not judging vampires as criminals, there just can be no coexistence between humans and vampires, because to vampires humans are food. Now let me ask you, you see a giant venomous snake in your neighborhood, what do you do? obviously you should have it taken care of... reporting it the right choice but if you killed it yourself for whatever reason doesn't make you a criminal. You would get in trouble for the details such as cleaning up the body, collateral damage and such but even with that the official announcement should be something like "Things like this should be left to their specialized agencies, any such act will be held responsible for casualties and damage related to the incident"
