God of Tennis - mc is a pro tennis player who gets reborn but this time he can see stats. The rest is effort and trust me he makes a lot of it.
Regressor Instruction Manual - mc is the weakest of the weak and basically has no talent. However, he has a skill that helps him view the stats of others (same as God of Tennis ik lol) and he uses it along with his intelligence to survive.

I think this story definitely meets your requirements.

Protagonist knows that he is an ordinary man and that the only advantage he has over other people in the country is the fact that he got a head start. Therefore he must be unrelenting so others don't catch up.... and I dunno threaten him? IDK why he is so bent on getting stronger, maybe he just wants immortality just because.

Protagonist kinda gives up all his emotions as he cultivates though. MC doesn't like money, parents, relatives, women, country. Just becoming stronger and removing his "threats" early as I stated in a review. Makes for kind of a boring story imo.

Also, theres two CN novels below like japanese manga "Gantz" style survival where MC is throw into a series of missions ever increasing in difficulty without a golden finger, maybe you like that kind of genre.

The only reason he is OP if you could even call him that is because of his personality and mindset. Probably my favourite novel of all time atleast chinese novels.
