Hello guy's i'm a newly forum dweller that found myself here from reading novel. This is my game although it's in the first few alpha test but i want your opinion on this. The story will probably take me a few day's or you have a few lore you want to share me? This game will have. IDK if this is gonna be a real game or not but currently my mind is trying to make this into a forum roleplay lololol, cringe right? but the setting is kinda nice in my head. how bout the 4 Horsemen of Apocalypse. Their Lore's pretty awesome. So is the different gods and goddesses in every mythology.
idk maybe forum roleplay? maybe just some idling game that i'll develop sooner or later. i got this idea from adventure's guild though...i recently read a bit of novel containing academy god's and demon...don't remember the name though.
This bird really feels like you're going about this backwards. Do you have a game to write a story for (mechanics), or do you have a story to turn into a game? It kinda sounds like you have neither...
Okay, well the most important part of a game is gameplay and mechanics for a forum game the next part would definitely be the story. Look up different mythologies. Egyptian, Greece/Roman, Norse, Japanese, Chinese, Celtic.
Yeah it's a random stuff i've been writing in my book, my mind is telling me to make roleplay out of this but i kinda want to make idle game haha.
Yeah that's why i created this post i needed suggestion, i could just jumble all the novel i've read so far about god's and demon together to make a story/tale but that's not gonna be original is it? i created the mechanic/classes just this morning like 2 hour's ago.

Norse Mythology is awesome nidhogg and jormungand are cool especially nidhoggs relationshot with yggdrasil. then theres the deer on the mortal realm and the bird on the roots symbolising the heavens iirc cool stuff
Here's an idea for a story game which doesn't take as much hassle as it would otherwise be if you tried to make an entire forum roleplay that doesn't copy the adventurer's guild A community participation game every forum member is a player in the game they each get a set amount of energy to spend every day? week? they can all choose to use that energy to help progress along a large quest that will take multiple people to complete or they can choose to keep hold of their energy in order to improve their own strength quests can be given by the various god/goddesses and maybe evil gods/goddesses players can choose 1 of 3? maybe factions and once there, unless they want to face a large penalty, can not change their faction there are various goals that each faction will want to complete, and each week, the factions are given a few quests each when a quest is complete, all members of that faction will vote for a day whether they want to impede another faction, or improve their own faction's skills/counter the higher the number on the counter, the stronger the faction is the counter however will only improve your stats by 1 while the energy you save will improve it by 2 new players will have a set amount of points to attribute to their character and those who join afterwards will not have the points that were gained while they have not yet joined each faction will each fight to gain territory which is also counted by the counter/points The three factions could be the (gods, evil gods and human factions) the gods faction would give quests from gods/ goddesses the evil gods faction would give quests from gods / goddesses the human faction would receive quests from the kings and queens didn't think of what would happen as it got farther on as i ran out of ideas... (this would literally be male vs females, but much harder to regulate, much harder to make, and on steroids) BTW it would be run solely on an honor system... unless someone wants to keep track of it all
Good idea...but i still want to implement the idea of different tale's under one Roleplay. Like the birth of pangu/god How the fake god killed the original god etc.
