Resource Alternatives to google toolkit?

Now that google toolkit is about to close for good, I'm looking for alternatives

i tried googling alternatives, but they don't seem to be free, which is a hard pill to swallow for a poor translator like myself.

CafeTran Espresso, is quite good if you prefer offline translation software.

I tried https://www.yicat.vip/ , and it shows me results from google as machine translation, but then it suddenly says no results and doesn't show me the google machine translation....

 

I don't know man, I have never encountered that problem. Have you reached the daily machine translation limit? Because they only give you 200 segments for free.

Y use VPN? The software will split chapter into many small segments for translator to translate. Let me give you a screenshot later

That's fine. Just remember to press enter whenever you finish translating one segment. I got that all the time. I think it has something to do with their sever provider.

 

I still have that part empty. how do I get the raws there? I use perapera chinese popup dictionary, and it only works in that corner...

 

That's your translation memory, at the moment, you haven't translate anything yet. So it will empty. It will only appear if the exact matched segments are found.

Yes 200 segments. I'll usually just uploaded as many chapters until the notice popped up. But you can also check how many segments you have left in the setting page

 

what if you exceeded the limit in a day and only part of a chapter was whithin the 200 segment. do you have reupload the chapter the next day, or will the remaining segments automatically be machine translated the next day?

 

The software will leave it blank.
You have to select every individual segment next day one by one manually, and the machine translated results will appear on the top right corner where the translation memory is
