Lately there are quite a few popular ones I can name off the top of my head (Don't Pick Up Boyfriends from the Trash Bin (BL), The Need to Propose to Seven Men (BL), 100,000/Hour Professional Stand-in(BG)). Just a humorous protagonist that is mentally resilient or has a "big picture" perspective of all the abuse, so that my poor sorry heart doesn't shatter. That or some push and pull between love interests and MC that don't necessarily involve their beings. I want the MC to be bullied but still have enough strength to be rationale.
