Discussion Anime that you dropped and why

For me it was evangelion because i just dont like the mc and attack on titan because it got boring for me

 

I don't usually drop much anime because I only watch anime originals. And I tend to eatch only 1-2 shows per season. Quite often I don't even watch 1 because my taste is so supreme.

It's hard not being the target audience for 99% of anime

 

Charlotte because I don't liked that the Mc was tamed to be only justice with his power like a dog

Pretty cure and similars anime because too much "love and friendship saves the world"shit and secondary is repetitive and boring

I stopped watching it after episode 3

I dropped at episode 1,when I see him using his power selfish, I thinked that was good but later appears the wild Mc woman and tamed him and what he do nothing and obeys

 

Then it turns into a semi slice of life series about recruiting nakamas!

 

Then it my luck that I dropped at episode 1

 

I've read a lot of mangas over 20 years, If I read the same entry level shounen/LN anime after all this time I would feel bad for myself.

You can see my supreme taste on that thread where we post our favourite(s?) mangas. Although that's only a small portion because I'm way too lazy to use MAL or some sort of list keeping.

 

I've dropped this season gundam too. I've watched the episode 1 but is just bah, I feel like something is lacking in this one compared with his antecessors and this something is really important since I don't feel a need watch this gundam ( I'm big fan of gundam although)

 

For me it was School Days.....damn it was so bad..whats up with that MC.....

 

I've watched it until the end, just for curiosity

Good for you, I watched the whole thing and the first thing I did was take the CD out of my player then hammered it until all was in many pieces... It was one of my many mistakes in life that I totally regret.

Sane here, liked how MC was killed but going through all those episodes before the ending was like hell.

Ive got 60 shows on my dropped list, which doesn't count shows I dropped after only 1 episode. Don't always drop shows because they were bad, but sometimes I've just had enough, or it's not enough to keep me interested. I dropped Bebop, yet finished Isuca (which was a mistake), so I don't think it's really to do quality. For me it's much easier to get through shows that are currently airing in comparison to watching previously aired shows too. Too hard not to binge watch complete shows.

Aoi Bungaku, Claymore, Detective Conan, Durarara!, Kiba, Mirai Nikki, Psycho Pass, Re:Hamatora, The Law of Ueki, Tengen Toppa, Danganronpa, Zetsuen no Tempest and a lot more. As for reasons: uninteresting, boring, repetitive, annoying etc.

I also found it dumb that everyone just lists their favourite "popular" titles like Tokyo Ghoul and stuff. I read some very popular series as well but I always felt the goal of these kind of favourite manga threads was to learn of new reads. What's the point if every single post is mostly the same :/
