    I’m debating between buying Annihilation, or the live action Ghost in the Shell. Your thoughts?;)

    Stalker instead of Annihilation (both are great btw)
    and Alita live action is better then GITS imo

    Annihilation is netflix btw, so you can just watch it there

    I really should sit down and watch both before buying. Though I’m tempted to buy them based on what I’ve read on the synopsis on Wikipedia, so I get to enjoy the experience of watching them after buying and owning them....:notlikeblob:

    I’ve got a downloaded copy of Ghost, and Alita. I just have to watch them...I’ve seen parts, so I know I’ll like them...I’m a fan of the original source after all.:blob_tilt:

    I can watch Annihilation on Netflix. Buy later.:blobsanta:

    One. I’m going to watch Annihilation on Netflix. I’ve mostly seen a Ghost in the Shell. As mentioned, I’m restricting my movie purchases to one a week.:p

    Do not, do not under any circumstances buy or watch the live action Ghost in the Shell. This film is so bad that I'm semi-seriously considering it as a sign of the Apocalypse (and I'm not even religious...). Listen to me, I have never commented on NUF, YET I'm doing it to warn YOU ! This film is so bad that despite my atrocious memory, I remember the name of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse : Rupert Sanders, Jaimie Moss, William Wheeler and Ehren Krugger (the director and the writers)

    Hmm..I will sit down and watch my downloaded version fully then. As mentioned, I’ve seen parts of it, and thought it was ok...mostly because I was a fan of the original. :hmm:

    Im mostly disturbed at the “naked” suit worn by Johansson.:blobfearful:

    When I mentioned getting Dark City director’s cut?



    The plot didn’t disturb me. The original anime had a shoddy plot. But Johansson’s “naked” suit...that was disturbing.:eek:

    Annihilation...I’ve reread the synopsis...nope not that one. I do badly with horror...especially good horror. Schlocky horror is ok, since it’s not scary. But good horror? I can’t watch Alien...:eek::blobscream:

    Well, I’ve still got a few days to decide on what movie to get this week...if any. So I will watch that downloaded Ghost in the Shell.:aww:
