Hello. My RSS feed reader (newsbeuter) displays garbage instead of apostrophes for some novels. Looking at the XML of my RSS feed, I see <title>I’m Really a Superstar c153</title> which renders properly while <title>Ex-Hero Candidate’s, Who Turned Out To Be A Cheat From Lv2, Laid-back Life In Another World c35</title> displays garbage for the apostrophe on my RSS reader. Was that done by editing the title of the novel? I don't think regular users are able to make these fixes if needed, right? There are other novels like "A Mortal's Journey Through Immortality" and "I’ve Became Able to Do Anything with My Growth Cheat, but I Can’t Seem to Get out of Being Jobless" that exhibit similar behaviour. Is it possible to perform something like a search and replace over titles?
You got me, I did manually edit the title cause I was feeling lazy lol. Yes it's definitely possible to do a search and replace. Fine, it's fixed. It wasn't manually edited this time.
Haha, it's Sunday/Monday after all. However, I'm not seeing the changed reflected on novels with apostrophes yet. Tried some novels I don't read to make sure I'm not checking local cached copies.
Sure. To check I'm just looking at the page source for apostrophes in the Novel title (assuming the fix for RSS feeds is done by editing the title) A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality (Um, Sorry) I’ve Been Reincarnated! Edit: The RSS feed for RMJI seems to be working properly despite the title having not been changed. I'm assuming the fix was done elsewhere. Though, I don't have too many novels that have apostrophes in my reading list so I can't make sure that they are all working. I'll marked this as fixed. Thanks
Yeah the fix was done via the RSS file. I fixed it when I posted this: I figured you were having a different problem when you didn't see the changes.
