Love O2O...did you watch the movie too? Though the tv drama was more comprehensive and loyal to the book.
First asian drama that I watched was Green Forest, My Home, which my mom borrowed from the library. Favorites are City Hunter, She was Pretty, Incarnation of Money (this one's reaaalllly good, recommend for both guys and girls), My Love from Another Star... Oh yeah, some hong kong dramas are good too, such as Ghetto Justice (the first one is veeerrrryyy good, but the Ghetto Justice 2 sucks from what I heard), House of Spirits (main lead heck of funny, but when he acts scared it sucks), Gem of Life... aaand that's all I can remember. All the hong kong dramas I mentioned I recommend for both genders.
K Drama City Hunter, Healer, Secret Garden, Queen Seon dok(Can this be included), Boys over flowers J Drama Yamato Nadeshiko,
I also recommend Fashion Wars. It's a hong kong drama with lots of scheming in a magazine company. The female lead's acting sucks and the male lead has a skunk hairstyle, but the plots is good. And there's no romance; none of the casts get together...so for people out there who don't want to watch dramas with romance, and others who like to watch people scheming against each other, should watch this.
Any reason I should watch it besides the medical knowledge and technique used in the drama? (This one, right? Doctor X)
Doesn't have the emotion that you dislike. It's more about wish fulfillment than medical knowledge. And just watching a lady kick ass instead of being a damsel in distress is awesome. It is also comedy gold.
I'll try watching this drama then. I'm in need of something to do anyways. Thanks for giving me a drama to watch.
I believe the first season is only 8 episodes so it's a small risk when taking the plunge. I thought that the doctors in Doctor X doing such dumb thing was an outlier but with Ben Carson becoming a politician and making very dumb decisions and statements . Doctor X seemed kind of prophetic. All doctors are supposed to be smart but it isn't exactly true. Sometimes you wonder how they got their degree
Yeah, it actually wasn't. At the very least, I liked their kissing scene in the movie better. Much more natural. The one from the drama made me cringe.
The actress is too stiff. She had her arms by her sides at every single kiss scene and looked like she was trying to go to sleep. Like, if I'm kissing Yang Yang, I would definitely not keep my hands to myself. He's so pretty. Alas, most Asian heroines/actresses suck at kiss scenes. Too bad kisses can't be like the ones in Secret Garden.
