Does it effect you grammar and writing?

I avoid it, I feel that if I read it I'll be permanently brain damaged and cursed with MTL grammar when I write.

My grammar is already crap without adding any more crap to it.

Yes it does sometimes, just like reading things that are like junk-food novels. So I tend to avoid them, so I get the feeling

MTL is kinda meh when reading since its better than reading from the goddamn words you can't even understand.

Machine translation as in 100%machine translation (via google/bing) or manual machine translation?

I personally don't mind machine translation provided if the translator knew at least either of the language he translates from.

Does it effect your grammar and writing?

Umm, nope. Your ability to understanding basic grammar and knowing what logic behind it wouldn't change just because some less-accurate-literature.
"Believing it 100% accurate and to make it your reference to write" is what could change it.
You should never read MTL. You should only take the information which translated and make your own wording inside your mind.

Example above should "Deals 15 damage" to your brain and change your grammar based on your post. Yet we could care less since it happen to us everyday on message or chat.

This should help you to understand grammar.
