I have always wondered about this thing because, I know that everybody has their own genres. Some like action/adventure themes, other are fond of josei/shoujo while there are also some who love mature/harem/Loli/BDSM shts.... Yeah. I know. . . So anyone here can give me a rough estimate of the ave age just to ease my curiosity..thanks

That being said, here's just the relevant section extracted: The age of NUF users can be summed up fairly simply with some descriptive statistics. The youngest respondents were 14, the oldest respondents were early 40s. The mean age was 22 and the median age was the same. The mode was 23. There was a sharp decline after the mid 20s, so the bulk of users appear to be between 17 and 26. In general, female users skewed towards the younger side, with a mean age of 20, but oddly, the mode age for female users was still 23. Most (~55%) of respondents over the age of 30 appeared to be from SEA, and most of the rest were from Europe or Australia. Very few older respondents hailed from the US. Indeed, respondents from the US skewed several years younger than the global mean and median, even though the oldest respondent was American.

It hasn't even been a year yet! Anyway, I rather doubt the demographics of NUF would have changed considerably since then. If I did another I'd probably try to focus more on reading tastes and social views than I did in the previous survey. I might also want to do one for Scribblehub, maybe for their one year anniversary.
