I'm not too much into baking due to always missing either measurement tools or specific ingredients. I'm more into making easier stew-type dishes. Tomorrow I'm probably gonna make some vegan coconut curry. Hrm hrm.
It takes a bit of time and resources to complete your baking set but it gives a sense of achievement when you did complete it.
I like baking and cooking when I’m in the mood. Sadly the lazy part of me wins a lot of the time. Most of my baking and cooking usually is ready to make cakes, cookies, breads and brownies. As to cooking, I like making simple dishes that highlight the main course. Which is usually a meat of some sort. Either spice up the rice or add a little more to a soup that kind of thing. So I share your love for baking. Your not unusual.
I love carrot cake! It's not overly sweet and it's hearty. I especially love the ones that have walnuts in them.
Anyone here loves to bake mug cakes? Whenever I have cake cravings but too lazy to bake a proper one, I'd always take a microwaveable mug, throw the ingredients in, stir with a spoon and pop it in the microwave for around a minute or two. It's quick, easy and tasty
I see. Maybe I'll give it a try if I can find it then. I bought a banana cake before. They put slices of unripe banana inside the cake. It was so bad i couldn't finish it at all. Worst cake ever.
Where I'm from, banana cakes don't even have physical bananas in them. They're mashed into the batter and it's usually light and good. Maybe you just got a bad one?
I thought it was like that but nope. real unripe slices. I don't know what they were thinking. Maybe the baker was baked when he came up with it. And it's not cheap either.
But seriously? That would have tasted yuck. You have to use the bananas that are black. Mash em good. Sweet and yum.
