I’m trying to get inspiration for a novel and I would like opinions on what you think is the best training arc you’ve seen in a cultivation novels. Thanks
Alright, of all the closed off training sessions, I have to nominate This Hero Is Invincible but Too Cautious - https://www.novelupdates.com/series/this-hero-is-invincible-but-too-cautious/ His training arc is pretty much him training for a bit after every event and the goddess losing her mind over it since he doesn't want to show her what he is doing I don't know if he is cultivating, but it sure is a closed training and he suddenly is stronger by a whole rank
I think best training arc is not found in novel but in manga 100 Push-ups 100 sit-ups 100 squats 10 km running EVERY SINGLE DAY It goes without saying that you have to eat three meals a day, but a banana should be enough in the mornings Another rule is to never use your (or other) air-conditioner, be it summer or winter, to mentally strengthen yourself Explained in just 1 chapter also the best part is possible for you to try it. No impossible training like lift-weight tonnes of rock, absorb yang/fire energy in lava, refine poison by eating it, punch and crushing divine steel that are harder than diamond or learn to fly from jumping the highest mountain without parachutes or tool, just your bare body
The prologue and first few chapters of Secret Organization. The chilhood military death camps of Monarch of Evernight. The rest of the novel became boring and tedious to read after a while in my opinion tho.
Not exactly a training arc, but The Tutorial Is Too Hard has some good training arcs (mainly grinding and practicing) in the first few arcs...but it looks like the old translator took down the first 200 something chapters
Yeah, I’ve actually went back to get inspiration on the novel right before you mentioned it. One of the best training arcs in my opinion, only problem is that the MC is dull.
