Any spoilers for the development of Calton? Hes been annoying and rude to the Mc so far.

 

Carlton will get nicer as time goes on. They are left alone in the forest and Carlton will hold Luisen hand so as not to let him demoralize, also when Luisen sleep Carlton will take off his shoes wash his feet and give him a massage.
Another time is when... Carlton surreptitiously and gingerly hugged Luisen. Carlton could feel a warmth within his arms; when he closed his eyes, Carlton could hear Luisen’s breath mingling with his own. All this made the mercenary feel relieved.
At some point they needed money so Luisen sold his hair and Calton said “…Just this time. This won’t happen again. Whatever may happen, I’ll make sure we’re not short of money,”.

The pov of Carlton:
As the long, protruding strands were cut, the back of Luisen’s pale neck became visible. The white nape was pitifully thin and long. While the mercenary felt regretful at the site of the pronounced neck bone, the desire to place his mouth there also grew.
Lowering his gaze down the lord’s neck, Carlton could see delicate body lines exposed through the loose tunic. Luisen’s naked body–which he had seen earlier when he had come into the room–came to mind. (Luisen was changing that's why he have seen him half naked).
He wanted to place his fingers in Luisen’s soft hair and just run his hands through it. He wanted to tickle those blushing ears. For some reason, he wanted to see the young lord’s waistline, covered by the loose tunic, one more time.
After all this he asked himself ‘…Am I sexually frustrated?’.
I don't understand what you mean by capable.

Actually Carlton misunderstood a lot about Luisen, in his head he created a story about Luisen unfortunate childhood. So i think he fell a litle of pity for the duke. Also he changed because his feeling for the duke grew and because he saw the duke different from the other nobles.

 

The scene where Louisen was prepared to give his body to/give head to Carlton who was bluffing to get his permission to give rations to the villagers; I noticed that specific dialouges or monologues are missing or scene details were changed in the manhwa adaptation.
I guess some things had to be omitted from the original light novel to keep up with the pacing of a webtoon.
Or the artist just wanted to portay some depictions differently.
