Story wise the supernatural incident are serious and angst as it is only tragedy that will result in ghost. It is fluff as in we get to see the Spoiler: Female ghost some romantic side. Eg the female ghost in the first src was killed by a classmate who wanted to pursue her boyfriend. The villain also plotted to get pregnant with boyfriend child get married to him then killed him off later to get his inheritance. The female ghost keep on looking for someone who can see her just to warn him and this cause her soul in the end to become very weak so much that she is disappearing and cannot reincarnate. Boyfriend on the other hand keep on searching for gf killer as he do not believe she commit sucide. He even go against parents wish and want to be with the GF even when she is a ghost when they later meet with MC help. Relationship between ML and MC is funny at the moment as they are still in friendship stage. MC keep on teasing ML who is scared of Ghosts and keep on hiding his true online personality from ML. Finished this a while back then when to try the same author other story (this one about an author being transmigrated to his first novel as a cannon folder and he tried to change history) was nice for half then urghhh a non con that happened. normally i can tolerate them but this one MC does not like it but he just accept it and then Stockholm syndrome... gave up halfway... Spoiler: Ghost Girlfriend One of MC first case is the Ghost girlfriend case. One night when MC was sleeping in his dorm, he felt a presence n it turn out to be a girl ghost.The girl ghost was looking for a person who can help her but most Taoist / exorcist will exorcise her instead of helping here. MC was different as he agreed to help her. She was killed (push down the flat) by another friend who was after her boyfriend. The girl is after money and want to to get pregnant with the boy child and kill him and then get inheritance. Boy does not believe his GF commit suicide and has been searching for the truth. And the boy is ML childhood friend and ML has been trying to help him. MC contact boy and tell him to come to a seclude place if he want to see GF and he turn up and MC allow them to meet. MC later sell to boyfriend a talisman that can help to nurture GF soul so that she can stay on earth with him ML help his friend get revenge on the killer. Funny thing is ML was afraid CF will get cheated by MC so go online and ask MC online person about MC himself. It was funny but it caused MC to suspect who his big client is. it is also here we found out ML is afraid of supernatural as he asked MC for talisman.
Spoiler: Child Birth and Child Ghost MC is sharing a dorm with 4 other people and 3 of them later became aware of MC ability and became good friend with him. The next few chapter are about Liu Kang Aunt who is unable to have a child and it seems like this is gave MC another money making opportunity. MC helped Liu Kang Aunt to have a child and create talisman to help women have safe child birth. The next big case is when MC uni students wanted to play a spiritual game called 'tie shian' which is similar to Ouija and MC dorm mate, LK who is in love with one of the girl asked MC to join (as protection). His sister and a group of other students were competing to become the research student of a famous professor. One of the student wanted badly to get the post as she was in love with the professor and thus killed the child to demotivate his sister as she was a strong contestant. MC and his dorm mate later found the boy body who has not been found (so the child has been registered as missing) in the lake (thereby spoiling one of his dorm mate idea of bring his date to the lake as a romantic date). The poor child has been dismembered and stuff into a suit case thereby letting them know this is a pre-mediated murder and the woman is very dangerous. The child family and sister was informed and the sister was allowed to see her brother and found out what happen. (not the parents though). Planing on dealing with the woman they contact the professor and proved to him the situation. Turn out the professor initially wanted to get the sister immediately but due some advise conducted the competition instead. The woman also is not performing up to his standard. After being dismissed from the she even tried to get revenge by trying to poison the water resource for the lab but was caught instead. The sister revenge on the woman by asking MC to conduct a ritual that will caused all pains and suffering to divert back to the woman thereby killing her. Other thing is it being made know that MC is not unique as there are other Taoist but in the capital and also they each have their own property and the authorities are aware of them and do have a dept dealing with these things
Spoiler: MC and ML ML keep on getting involved with MC case either buying talisman for ML sister in law who is pregnant or is helping his brother with the professor when the child body was found in the lake. ML brother owned the lab which the professor is employed. Here we found out ML is the second son after his brother and his brother is the family head. He is spoil by this brother as there is a large age gap. His brother has a son who is only a few years different from him and twin daughters. Brother is a womaniser and has a number of illegitimate children but he has not acknowledge them and feel that he is still faithful to his wife cautious: strange logic ML brother has but he get his due later on). MC bought a new home and turn out ML is his neighbour and he saw ML when ML was there confronting one of his brother illegitimate children. Later when MC pull a lot of ghost to his home of find some good servants and when he send them off after finding a few these ghost surround ML car and bully him. MC saved him and feel guilty about it. MC at this point of time is still avoiding ML in real life as he feel ML is trouble. But online MC and ML has good relationship esp MC feel ML is cute as ML keep on grumbling to MC on a lot of thing. And ML treat online MC as his confidant and good friend. Spoiler: Fox Demon / Ancient Hair Pin/ Merit Lady Will put all three major event below: ML now have good relationship with MC going to his house all the time lingering around there. He even asked MC help to deal with his friend who got possessed by a Fox Demon. It was there he became braver and also realised he is weaker and he need to get stronger to become closer to MC. ML still did not realised his feeling yet until at a later stage after he had a discussion with his Sis in Law when he realized he like MC and started to woo him. He even took advantage to sleep as often as possible to the unknowing MC on the same bed in the Ancient Hair Pin event. One time ML and MC went to an auction and there was a hair pin. In the pin there is a 1000 year old ghost and it was being used to harm the Mayor (?) daughter. The lady has a chance encounter with MC once when MC was shopping for computer and at that time someone has set a curse on the lady to try to get her to pay attention to another man which will make her become wild. MC help her out but not telling her anything about it. Then they met at the auction and the same man tried again this time with the hair pin. The ghost in the hair pin was not so happy about it and when MC put a talisman on it she gave the lady a dream telling her life story. Turn out she was a wife of a scholar and they were in love but war came and her husband got enlisted. She waited for him but in the end came men who tried to kill her saying her husband already betray the country and has married a foreign princess. She died and became a violent ghost until many years later there was a mourning group outside her house and a young man calling her mother telling her the whole story. Her husband pretended to be traitor (he was forced to) but still working on the inside and the princess he agreed to marry on the condition his wife is not harm. The princess lied to her husband and behind his back send killers after her. The husband later kill the princess in revenge and adopted a boy with her eyes as their child. But he feel guilty and is unable to faced her so died without seeing her. MC later help the ghost and make her become his housekeeper (he change this dummy doll from another world where ghost can use and appear in daytime). The next one is when MC and ML already in relationship where MC saved a lady with an aura showing she has done a lot of good deeds in her life. But in the end the lady died as MC did not managed to meet up with her in time (the poor lady keep on getting in accident as people are trying to kill her). After investigation there was two culprits for this a) the lady husband and his mistress. the mistress has mafia connections and they are trying to kill the lady and her daughter to try to get her inheritance. b) another taoist - he does not actually kill the lady but he lower her luck allowing the mistress to succeed cause he wanted to get the lady aura as he had done bad deeds and does not want to be punish. After MC defeat him, MC took over his area (each taoist) as in the same area is ML office
Spoiler: ML / MC + End ML is the first to fall in love and start wooing MC. a) ML found out he is in love with MC after talking to his sister in law b) He change for MC by changing his style to more mature (no more colourful bangs) and even took over an entertainment company and did it well so he can match MC c) MC though he is wooing someone when he saw ML change and is wondering which lady got his attention d) MC found out about ML cause ML confessed to Shopkeeper bro (MC online) and MC heard it - lead to steamy bathroom s.. e) MC started working hard to help ML change his fate by coming up with the idea to change ML to a dragon f) MC proposed to ML for marriage (as a way to encourage ML to survive the change) before ML 25 BD g) ML successful turn to a dragon and survive - he became a small cute black dragon and was annoy for a while cause he cannot turn back yet and have fun with MC The story ended around this area with a few extras - ML turn back to human form but still Baby dragon. ML brother got ditched by his wife for his unfaithfulness and spend a long time groveling to try to woo her back.
