Well, the second I saw the keywords 'father' and 'son', I noped out of it. I find the generational incest disgusting. I can accept sibling incest in fiction, but can't stomach the parent-child one, yuck. And even if they're not related, the big age gap is enough to keep me away. So anyway, I've seen tons of father-son BL on Chinese sites. I wonder why it's so popular. Never thought I'd see one getting translated, I admit. Also, why is the shota tag there? Like is the father actually diddling his son in his preteen years, cause that's a double yuck from me... I never give 1 star reviews without first reading a novel (and have never given one so far), but I was so tempted on this one. I MTL'ed some of of this because I liked the translated chapter but it derailed really fast. During MC and his older brother's 100 day celebration, they had a reading indicating that one of them was an alien star. In the next chapter ML and baby!MC were cuddling on the bed and chatting and ML already knew MC had another soul in his body. MC and the bro were under house arrest until they were five when they were allowed to go to school. There was an accident with the little princess and MC got hurt. ML went a little nuts seeing him getting hurt. I stopped reading there out of disappointment. There should have been 20+ chapters detailing MC who tried to grow up well while pretending to be a good boy and hiding his rebirth.
As much as I like to read BL, dont really mind with incest (siblings and parent child), BUT when it involves under age (below 16), I cant stomach reading it. It's like pure horror reading under age sex even if the story says it's LOVE.....Nope, jsut can't.

MTL coz I'm curious, and this is what I understand : Apparently they are Father and Son by BLOOD Yes, MC can talk when he still a baby, so he decided to make it clear with his father (ML) that he is foreigner soul that reincarnated as his son. But his father find it interesting and decided to protect MC and let him grow up to see what interesting things MC will bring him. Coz as a powerful man apparently life is boring. It's looks like even though the are Father and Son, they treat each other as an equal individual. The status as father and son is just like a play for them. Sure MC always call ML Father, and ML also call MC Son, but they don't really see each other as one from the start (this is one of the reason i can read this novel) ML think MC is the same type of person like him. you know like destined to bring calamity, indifferent, cold and not seeing someone other than himself as something important. oh and of course they doesn't have good moral standards. they just see each other, so this is 1v1. they do have intimate moments, even when MC still a toddler. like touching, kissing, smooching, french kissing but they don't really have s*x till MC 15-16. of course when MC still a toddler and can't do the deed, ML still sleep with his concubine and have more kids. Also at that time they still doesn't really accept each other, so even though they do a lot of smooching, they just do it for fun. But as MC grow older ML can't do it with other people coz he realize that he just love MC and he find other people disgusting. of course they also feel possessive for each other. Oh I have to emphasize that from the start ML never cared about his concubine or his other kid. He really doesn't have any feeling for them and really does't care about other people well being other than MC. MC is elegant kid and have special charm that can make people blush even when still a kid and ML is typical cold blooded, powerful and dominant man. But I should say that he is really considerate to MC as he never force MC to do anything. It is always said that the MC is a very capable man, but for some dumb reason he always gets into trouble. Almost get injured numerous time, poisoned several times, until I doubt the credibility of MC. I just read till 80 (more or less) and decide to stop coz I feel I have enough of this novel. Hello, Im Avocado and I am the TL for this Series. Smutty moments: This novel isn't porn without plot so there isn't any chapter long smut scenes, but there will be smut scenes. And a lot of it (quantity). Said before, there isn't any sex between the two until he's 15/16, but there are sexual interactions (like smooching and doing other stuff) when he was 12. The main novel ends when he is 19. Plot background: (What's been posted above) The plot thickens later on I guess, the whole him being a spy thing doesn't really matter lol (I guess it contributes to his personality) Palace Schemes: There will be a political schemes and drama, of course, the ML is an emperor after all. Attempted assassinations etc. but MC gets strong later on. How they fell in love: Idk how to explain, I think it's cause ML is kinda narcissistic? and really obsessive?? They say they are 'in love/committed' at first but really they never understand each other's feelings after going through a few conflicts together. (Since MC is really only doing all this to survive the palace at first) --- Overall answering a few questions posted above, this series is strictly 1v1, no cheating, no fights/hurt feelings/misunderstandings (like maybe once in the extras), etc. The age gap between the two is 20 years old. There are two 1v1 pairs, one more introduced later. This series was actually really really popular back in like 2010ish times, (This was published in 2008), and one of the most popular incest BL novels even now. The plot itself will also deal/cover with some conflicts about being incest which I think is really cool. I have more specific tags on the TL page, not here on NU. I, personally, am not a huge fan of the shota or incest genre and stuff but it ended up being really sweet so I guess it was ok? I Read/TLed this novel like on a whim at first and only for the smut lmao But I think even as a reader I agree this story moves too fast and not enough background development in the first few chaps, and I understand that it's not for everyone lol.
