Thats still nonsensical. Lvl 2 spearmen could never hope to catch even a below average lvl 7. Also if the lvl 7 just uses a longer or ranged weapon he would be out of any danger.

 

battle doesn't work like that though, sometimes people get behind you. I imagine 10-20 spears coming at the dude might be avoided once or twice, but eventually he gets hit. maybe he causes significant damage to the matrix, but he still dies and as far as the rest of the human kingdoms in the region are concerned people of his level are supposed to be rare. also, I think the author said level 2 matrix can kill a level 5 warrior, not 7. don't remember, it was in the first few chapters. doesn't matter though, my guess is that the author doesn't care.

 

100 level 2 spearmen kiliing a level 5 makes more sense. killing a level 7 still seems like too much of a stretch to me.

 

just when i thought the author couldn't get stupider, mc causes sonic booms with javelins while they're sneaking around the city. the author didn't even consider what the consequences might be.

what is with all of the side characters having secret backgrounds? mc's dad is from the chinese clan (not a big surprise), then best waifu is a princess, and now the hot teacher is some noble daughter from the north. im predicting that one of his friends from the early chapters is gonna show back up as a knight.

 

I think she just looks like diana.

 

mc gets new ability when fighting weaklings. not sure why. usually mc's get stronger through training or because author needs them to defeat someone who's stronger than them, but in CoBI the mc gets it whenever.

MC is your average joe at start not reincarnated and not a rich young master, the world is set on a postnuclear world but it wasn't a nuclear war that happen more like a meteor called Star of God just crashed into the world and rearranged a lot of shit like the laws of elements and shit, meaning a lot of stuff works differently now, also it introduced a lot of atmospheric changes I think making it so that human can cultivate certain points in their body to unlock their potential, kinda like the meridians or something. Also before the star crashed apparently humans had been ruled by demons secretly and science was just one way of looking at the laws of the universe, this all changes after the crash, humans fight off the demons (for now) and time passes as humanity reforms itself into a cohesive feudal like society with the Asiatic or Eastern continent becoming the best place (MC is Chinese but doesn't live there), apparently technology still exists but its kinda more steampunk as everything technology-wise runs on steam and coal, there are cars even sports car apparently, there are computers but apparently not portable ones but steam powered ones which aren't used like modern day ones there are apparently cameras because they keep mentioning taking photos but I can't imagine how a camera could ever be run on steam power. So MC is average guy gets bullied a bit finds a strange object inside a worthless gem he picks up and accidentally spills blood on it absorbing it into his mind and thus he gains the eponymous "Castle of Black Iron" which is something like an alternate space where MC is god which has a strange tree that grants MC all kinds of amazing overpowered fruits, and thus the series goes.

 

I see it's sounds like any chinese cultivation manga (where the MC is weak then find a treasure that lets you train in an alternate space) but I think I'm gonna try it Thank you

so what chapter when he's crippled? chapter 200 or 400?
Did any of his harem leave him because of it?
Any Mistreatment because of this?

 

I think he was crippled in early 200s, and and it remained so for like less than 30 chapters, also none of his harem members left him for that reason
