Hmm, I would guess "spiritual cultivation/spiritually cultivating" or "cultivating to be an immortal".

 

On a vague estimation, calling the act of not sleeping cultivating is probably because cultivators don't need to eat, sleep, pee or poop after going past some basic low level. It might also be related to how the most commonly known Buddha (that Indian prince guy) became a buddha. He just prayed under a tree without eating and (implicitly) with minimal sleep. This went on for days (I think it was a month or so? Too lazy to research up trivial minute details.)

Depending on context, this can be translated as burning the midnight oil (if working) or just staying up late.

yes， about 5 or 6 years ago ，it is very famous in china，so did 步步惊心 and 大漠谣，but 步步惊心 and 大漠谣 is different from 全职高手which is write on qidian, it was write on the jingjiang ,it is build for girls with romance novels and boys love,so as a boy i dont realize who she is first......(in fact in china we more know the novels name than writers`)
