    We all know that Chinese novels gets their own adaption in China. But this time, it's different... A Japanese animation company is taking part in the production. So we will be getting Japanese dubs.

    What do you think? Will other Xianxia novels get to see light in the Japanese Anime industry? or will it only stay in China like all other Chinese adaptions?

    China has a huge audience compared to Korea or Japan, so yeah, if this anime gets pretty successful, there probably will be more. That's what I think, at least.

    But is this the first time a xianxia novel gets an anime that isn't just in China? Making an anime in Japan gives it a whole other level of exposure considering how much people watch anime all over the world. You could say it's the difference between heaven and earth!

    Are you referring to Chinese adapted anime? This one is different, the core production staff are Japanese. Like what Mr_Magika said, the anime being adapted by a Japanese company makes a whole lot of difference since being under the Japanese spotlight gives it enough exposure to boost it's popularity worldwide. There's also the fact that it will get translated by fansubbers or funimation and will be available for watching. Letting more newfags and normalfags become aware of the ever growing popularity of Chinese novels.

    Good news to see the Japanese animation companies are looking at sources outside their fair isles for material. Nyanko can only hope for a Kubera adaption

    Guess they'll be hoping to make the sales numbers with the mandarin version, otherwise I don't see how this would end up profitable?
