I'm a bit skeptical about the official English translation of 八荒六合掌 (combination cardinal palm).
Google translate gave "eight wild six palms" while yabla said "eight desolate six palm".

Is this refering to the Bagua?

八荒/ 八方 means four Cardinal directions(north, east, south, and west) and four intermediate directions (northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest), it is used to refer the world or the places that far away from the middle kingdom.
六合 means six relative directions left, right, forward(s), backward(s), up, and down.

If you want a literal translation, it would be Eight Desolations Six Harmonies Palm.
The official translation is correct, albeit doesn't sound as cool. The "Combination" is a bit awkward.
