I finally decided to install Monster Hunter 5 with my low spec (?) laptop (Windows 8) and the result is a black screen (not crash). I checked the website's comments on how to solve the black screen, but graphic_options (file) editing "FullScreen" to "Borderless" did nothing at all. My black screen still remains in a span of 10 minutes or forever. My specs shouldn't be that low, perhaps it's because I don't have a NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760?
Yes. Get the 1000 ti series. Would be more efficient value for money. Try looking the secondhand if you must.
I am not an expert, but isn't it really hard to change the gpu of a laptop since you have to use a laptop gpu, just like any other laptop part? Idk if it is possible or even worth it trying to put a regular gpu into a laptop. Good luck
There is no hope for me at all. Incompatible drivers. Low spec and memory storage. Old hardware, out of date software, and slow/static WiFi. I shall lock this thread to let this tragedy rest in peace.
